Roles of UMAMIT28 in iron uptake, transport and seed accumulation in Arabidopsis thaliana
The part one transporter protein plays in taking up iron and moving it into the seed, studied in Arabidopsis lines.
Aim: To establish what part the UMAMIT28 transporter plays in the uptake of iron in Arabidopsis, in its movement through the plant and in its accumulation in the seed.
Scope: Carried out under the TÜBİTAK 1001 programme.
