An IoT-based soilless growing unit and its mobile application
The device and its mobile app were developed with Vahaa; the lab tested the unit for its nutrient solution and growing conditions.
Aim: To develop an internet-connected soilless growing unit, and the mobile application that runs it, with the industry partner Vahaa.
Methods: Our lab assessed how the nutrient solution and the growing conditions affect plant growth, in trials carried out in the unit itself.
Scope: Run under the TÜBİTAK TEYDEB 1501 Industrial R&D Projects Grant Programme and completed in 2022.
