Biotechnology and Bioeconomy Cluster (BİKÜME)
A cluster that brings companies, universities and institutions in biotechnology and the bioeconomy together; it started at GTÜ in November 2025.
Aim: To bring companies, universities and public institutions in biotechnology and the bioeconomy together around joint projects, research infrastructure and commercialization.
Scope: A Ministry of Industry and Technology clustering call project that started at Gebze Technical University on 15 November 2025, coordinated by Prof. Dr. E. Damla Arısan. Ümit Barış Kutman takes part as a researcher by official appointment from the university, and members of the lab are on the cluster’s coordination team.
