Şükran Duman Öden

Şükran Duman Öden is a lecturer at the Institute of Biotechnology. She runs the institute’s R&D greenhouse and the greenhouse laboratory, and supports the group’s experiments.

Her background is in field crops: her master’s thesis determined the yield and quality characteristics of different basil (Ocimum basilicum) varieties and genotypes under the conditions of Adana. Before that she worked on medicinal and aromatic plants at Çukurova University.

In the lab she has worked on the TARIM2030 SAYEM programme and on the TÜBİTAK 2244 industrial doctorate project.
