She joined the lab as a summer intern in 2023 and graduated from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Gebze Technical University in 2026.
Her graduation project, supervised by Ümit Barış Kutman and supported by TÜBİTAK 2209-A, examined how boron deficiency and boron fertilization affect the symbiosis between alfalfa (Medicago sativa) and Sinorhizobium meliloti, and the biological nitrogen fixation that comes with it. During 2025-2026 she was an undergraduate scholar on the TARIM2030 SAYEM project.
She is now reading for a master’s degree in environmental protection and agricultural food production at the University of Hohenheim.
