She graduated in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Gebze Technical University at the top of the whole university. She is continuing her double major in Chemistry there, and her work in the lab.
Her graduation project, supervised by Ümit Barış Kutman and supported by TÜBİTAK 2209-A, looked into what triggers hydrogen sulfide toxicity in rice (Oryza sativa) and into sustainable ways of preventing it. She is currently a scholar on the TARIM2030 SAYEM project.
