We hosted the management of Teknopark İstanbul at our R&D greenhouse

Teknopark İstanbul General Manager Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Akyol and Board Member Dr. Mehmet Akif Özyurt visited the R&D greenhouse of the Institute of Biotechnology at Gebze Technical University (GTÜ) and saw the soilless farming work our lab, KutmanLab, carries out there.

Our PIs, Asst. Prof. Ümit Barış Kutman and Asst. Prof. Bahar Yıldız Kutman, presented the lab’s work on soilless farming, productivity and sustainable agriculture. Nehir Boyacıoğlu, founding partner of Vahaa Smart Garden, also joined the programme, and possible collaborations in agricultural technology were discussed. We thank the delegation from Teknopark İstanbul for their visit.
