Our PI Ümit Barış Kutman joined a panel at the Green R&D Conference

The “Green R&D Conference”, organized for the second time by Etkin Proje, was held on 15 November 2023 at Justwork Academy in Meydan İstanbul. Our PI, Asst. Prof. Ümit Barış Kutman, took part in the conference as a panelist.

The panel, titled “Green Start-Up World”, was moderated by Can Sındıraç from Aspilsan Energy. On it, Ümit Barış Kutman talked about the start-ups that play leading roles in developing sustainable, innovative technologies for agriculture, and about how these start-ups interact and collaborate with Gebze Technical University (GTÜ) and especially with the GTÜ Institute of Biotechnology, which our lab KutmanLab is part of.

He also discussed current trends in the green R&D ecosystem in agriculture, predictions about its future, and investment opportunities.
