Two TÜBİTAK 2209 proposals from our lab conditionally accepted

Two undergraduate project proposals submitted from our lab to the TÜBİTAK 2209 programme were conditionally accepted in the results announced on 13 May 2026.

The proposals were prepared by Elif Mutluay and Aleyna Su Bostan, both undergraduate students working in our lab at the Institute of Biotechnology, Gebze Technical University. Elif Mutluay joined the lab in 2025 as a TÜBİTAK STAR undergraduate research scholar, while Aleyna Su Bostan completed her graduation project in the lab and continues her work as a scholar on a TÜBİTAK 1833 SAYEM project.
