Bahar Yıldız Kutman presents BİKÜME at the Bioexpo Biotech/Medtech Entrepreneur Stage

The Institute of Biotechnology, Gebze Technical University, took part in the Biotech/Medtech Entrepreneur Stage held within Bioexpo on Friday, 16 October 2026. The Institute director, Prof. Dr. Müge İşleten Hoşoğlu, and our supervisor Bahar Yıldız Kutman attended, together with Dr. Hüseyin Çimen.

In the session on supporting institutions and programmes, Bahar Yıldız Kutman gave the introductory presentation of BİKÜME, the Biotechnology and Bioeconomy Cluster. At the fair the team spoke directly with biotechnology and medical technology companies, told them about the Institute’s work and invited them to the 3rd International Biotechnology Solutions for Sustainability congress (Biotech4Sus). We hope these contacts lead to new projects and collaborations with sector partners.
